Always trying to think of new ways to approach teacher appreciation. So, this year for the staff appreciation luncheon I made this tray of brightly colored citrus slices to liven up the dessert table. Ah, lemon, lime, and orange. Sorry no proper drinks to put them in.

Okay, funny story… a friend’s daughter is about to go on stage when there is an “equipment malfunction.” They are desperately searching for a strapless bra to no avail when the mom’s best friend hands her a Victoria Secret special, still warm from original use! New meaning to giving the shirt off your back (or bra off your front)! She saved the day and here is the tray that was ordered to thank and celebrate it!

Ah, the lovely south. Home to Moon Pies and RC Cola. They aren’t exaggerating when they speak of southern charm- and Charleston captures it beautifully. Our eldest daughter just spent the weekend there for a bachelorette celebration. Naturally, I sent some cookies that the hotel placed on their pillows, ready for their arrival. SC symbol is the Palmetto tree and crescent moon…. and what party would be complete without a little champagne?
