Gingerbread Train

3D gingerbread trains were a little out of my box.  But what the client wants, the client gets.  The engine was a 5″ cookie with an additional “coal” cart custom behind. Included were two huge gingerbread men (one was a woman, actually) and two little ones that fit in the  front compartment of the train.  All to be decorated at the party and taken home in their custom box.

Holiday office party for the judicial courts in Colorado.  Please pun, the client said.  I don’t have to be asked twice. Her favorite were the ‘briefs’…

Smitten Mitten

These winter themed cookies were given out as small gifts for the holidays. The timing was perfect as they arrived as the temperatures dropped and snow was predicted. I particularly liked the mittens where each design was a little bit different that the next.  Design ADD.

Snow Globe

Deer me.  This herd is headed to my talented friend Jade; she is giving them out to her clients as a little gift when they come in to see her during the holiday season.   Cookies are a brilliant idea for a reasonably priced, sweet treat for the holidays! A perfect aREINgement, for sure.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

The main jolly old elf and his helpers made an appearance at this celebration. The helper elves were called out by name as they brought sweet treats to good girls (and boys). Ornaments added to the festive setting. Loosen those belts and let the season begin!

Deer Me

A very dear (not to be confused with deer) friend has me make place cards for her Christmas Eve dinner every year.  This year she wanted reindeer. I placed them in a snow globe and voila!  Dashing (or dancer, prancer, or vixen.).

Red, White, and Rudolf

This set was for my hubby to take to work.  Reindeer have been my cookie buddies as of late (long story) so I had to include Rudolf with some mistletoe.

The relief ornament decoration was made using a stencil from The Cookie Countess as shown.  Definitely a life saver when it comes to saving time. I used several shades of red and some white to achieve the effect.

Southwestern Christmas

The annual girlfriends Christmas party had a southwestern food theme this year.  I asked the hostess if she wanted Christmas or southwestern themed cookies.  Both? she inquired.  Why, yes, we can.

Me, My Elf, and I

I have been making place cards for a friend’s Christmas Eve dinner for many years. Santa’s helpers were happy to help, taking a break after working so hard all year long. Hope your holiday meal is a very merry one.
