Tropical wedding

Sandy and Adam are great adventurers so it makes complete sense that their wedding would be in a lush, exotic tropical setting. For their bridal shower, I thought of dreamy, soft watercolors accented by their silver rings.  The silver was from TMP and the watercolor was various mixings of Americolor‘s moss, leaf and forest green, and ivory with water.

Bring the Bling

For a happy engagement party, add cookies to bring the bling.  Okay, I get it; the RING is the bling. Still, I can’t help but put my own sweet spin on bRINGing the bling.  Shine on, you crazy couple!deepikaengagement.jpg

Stick with It

One advantage of waiting so long to post this set is that it is hockey season again (we are in that sweet spot of sports where it is baseball, football, hockey, and basketball season all at once.  Choice is a good thing, right?)

Anyway, back to hockey. … and word play.

Glad Grad

We have been renovating a 30 year old house since we moved to New Hampshire this past spring.  Many people will warn you about the costs and the timeline of renovations.  “Many people” were correct, correct, and, oh yeah, CORRECT! But, at last, catching up on the cookie sets never posted….

I created this set last spring for one GLAD GRADuate. Thank you Lawdy that that part of schooling was done (although she is now working on her Masters…). Impressive.gladgrad3.jpg

So Engaging

There is so much more to being engaged now than when I was going through that moment of my life. Now there are fun ways to ask friends and family to be in the bridal party (ahem, like cookie boxes!) and the wonderful news is celebrated with engagement parties.  Definitely showing my age by becoming aware of such norms just within the past year or two…

A wonderful repeat customer’s daughter just became engaged and I was so happy to create the “will you be my bridesmaid” boxes and the cookies for the engagement party.  Thanks Jennifer!!!

‘Cause I said what about Breakfast at Tiffany’s?

“As I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it.” What’s not to like about the wedding of Emilie and Dave. Beautiful bride, handsome groom, happy family and friends. That dance floor was definitely a hopping place (maybe we were all hopped up on cookie sugar?) ! A Tiffany blue theme popped up throughout the wedding, including in their wedding favors.  Here are the designs that Em and Dave picked:

Alex and Ashley

These sweet cookies were for the children attending their wedding. Alex (of Alex and Ashley fame) is an incredible, uber talented graphic designer who whipped up a beautiful floral, rustic theme for their wedding info site. I referenced those florals and golden touch he added when creating their cookies. Did I mention how Amazing and Awesome “A & A” is to cookify?
