Baker’s Christmas

My family will tell you that I can’t leave well enough alone.  Always tweaking a recipe, seeing a kids board game and must play it, listening to a travel program and must make plans to go there. Well, apparently, I can’t leave classic song lyrics alone either.

A shout out to all of my hard working, creative, amazingly talented fellow cookiers in this busiest of times!

Season’s Bleatings

As I decorated cookies and listened to old school Christmas movies for background noise, I heard the proverbial “bah hum bug.” My mind went a-wandering and, ‘poof,’ yet another silly cookie set was born.

Christmas Cheer

Word.play.Christmas onslaught begins.  Started with an athletic game with cheerleaders and ended with this set.  Rah rah sis boom bah (no humbug).

Can Do Attitude

John Atkinson, over at Wrong Hands, has me in stitches. Chortling, nonstop.  The way this man thinks is right up my alley. And yes, I have asked to use his cartoons as a jumping off point for cookies. I may or may not have requested permission and then bribed him with cookies. In any case, this set started with inspiration from the brilliant brain of John and modified with some Mayer mania.  It was my set to encourage someone that they could do it!  It’s all about the CAN do attitude.

Stick with It

One advantage of waiting so long to post this set is that it is hockey season again (we are in that sweet spot of sports where it is baseball, football, hockey, and basketball season all at once.  Choice is a good thing, right?)

Anyway, back to hockey. … and word play.

Baker’s Apology

Sometimes an apology comes in handy.  For your favorite baker, bread maker or person with a “weir.dough” sense of humor.  #flourpower
