I have had the pleasure of meeting a LOT of bright and clever people over the years. This young graduate is no exception. Lauren has interned in a hospital already…and that’s before she heads off to a pre-med program at university! Although her biology and chemistry acumen takes a major role of her life, I threw in a few other interests that keep her busy (swimming, being from Buffalo, and graduating) as well. Luckily, Lauren has a kind disposition and is forgiving of my love for word play….

Come He** or High Water
Let me first say that Sydney is a fabulous swimmer (she’d have to be to make the Northwestern D-1 team). Hearty congratulations and good luck to Miss S as she heads off to Chicago this fall. All that hard work paid off! Go rule the pool!
That being said, I have to admit to a dislike.affair with purple cookies. There. I’ve said it. The darnedest color ever to match and impossible to get colleges, companies, logo masters, etc to commit to one shade. Really, really. Go google, say, ‘Northwestern University logo.’ 50 different shades pop up. And that’s the way it is with almost everything purple. ARGH. I decided to choose two shades & go with that. At least I know they all had the same level of deliciousness!
On the Side of Angels
Although the formal name of this graduate is Angelica, her parents’ pet name for her is Angel. They wanted that to be somehow incorporated into one of the cookie platters. Oh, and there was a red dye food allergy in the immediate family so, even though that is one her school, minimize the red. Ask and ye shall receive.
Angelica will be going into a science field at university so I thought the ‘graduated’ cylinder could come out and play. Once a nerd, forever a nerd. A nerd with a pun addiction.
2014 Graduation ideas
New York public high schools have their graduation ceremonies the last week of June. They may be later than the rest of the country but they party the whole summer long. Just wanted to give a taste for what fun you can have with custom cookies and “2014” graduates!
Had a screen shot of Helen on stage in the midst of Chinese dancing. She’s so graceful and gorgeous that I wanted to make sure she got her own special cookie!
Williamsville South Swag!
This party had two platters: one with a look at the past/a nod to the future and the other with all of the graduate’s sports interests. The shot of him playing lacrosse was taken from a photo his mom sent me.
More details on this platter and another music focused graduate to be posted soon!
