Can’t Live without You

This Valentine’s Day set is dedicated to a constant in my life: coffee.  It’s the BREWtal truth.  It is also my Valentines nod to those who don’t currently have a significant other. Maybe you’ve BEAN there, done that.

You Rock Paper Scissors

I wish I had thought this idea up on my own. I saw it somewhere on the internet last year (sorry I am not crediting the “author”; let me know if you know who that is); the idea has been in the back recesses of my mind ever since waiting to be cookie.fied.  It works beautifully as a Valentines set. We’re (not) playing games this February 14th!

Happily Ever After

Lindsey and Chance are having their Cinderella ending (actually a beginning…). They wanted to extend their “happily ever after” wedding theme to the rehearsal dinner and welcome bags.

Glass slipper place cards were requested for the rehearsal dinner.

As well as Clock Towers and Carriages.

The out of town guests received Colorado-themed welcome boxes that included individualized glass slippers, carriages with the Colorado flag, and a story book cookie showcasing our Colorado mountains.

Denver’s Finest

Denver has a very grateful and satisfied neighborhood.  They have a police officer (several actually) that are watching over them carefully and interacting with purpose.  And the residents have noticed.  These cookies were part of a set that was sent to District 2 as a thank you.

Go Plaid and You Won’t be Sad

This holiday party was non denominational, with no jolly old elf or reindeer to be included. The invite was all about the plaid with decorations including sprigs of pine and pine cones. Oh and, um, moose and squirrels were involved. Not in a relationship like Bullwinkle and Rocky or anything.  Just in a woodlands creature sort of way.

Merry Fitness and Happy New Rear

Christmas at the gym (thanks for the order Meghann, owner of Trivida).  Surely a good workout is what Santa meant when he said “sleigh it, Rudolf!” Blitzen that workout.

Deer Me

A very dear (not to be confused with deer) friend has me make place cards for her Christmas Eve dinner every year.  This year she wanted reindeer. I placed them in a snow globe and voila!  Dashing (or dancer, prancer, or vixen.).

Red, White, and Rudolf

This set was for my hubby to take to work.  Reindeer have been my cookie buddies as of late (long story) so I had to include Rudolf with some mistletoe.

The relief ornament decoration was made using a stencil from The Cookie Countess as shown.  Definitely a life saver when it comes to saving time. I used several shades of red and some white to achieve the effect.

The company business involves concrete and aggregates thus the trucks and the “crushes it” idiom!

We Wish You a Dairy Christmas

Just in QUESO you’re going to a holiday wine and cheese party… Or if you have a friend that is a cheesemonger (I do). Really, really- it’s NACHO fault if you are shaking your head; I CAMEMBERT when I didn’t take advantage of every opportunity to make a play on words.
