Autumn in New Hampshire

The hubby and I are experiencing fall in New Hampshire for the first time.  We hiked the Welch and Dickey Loop recently and experienced a beautiful combination of granite and autumn leaf views. Although there were pops of red and bright orange, the scene was this most amazing, gentle gradient of yellows with undertones of gold and brown.  Almost ombre.  My inspiration for the peaceful and pretty pumpkins.  And on the drive home I spied this adirondack chair with a skull/jack o lantern face cut out of the back.  You know that was meant to be a cookie.  #cookieplatesfortheneighbors

Glad Grad

We have been renovating a 30 year old house since we moved to New Hampshire this past spring.  Many people will warn you about the costs and the timeline of renovations.  “Many people” were correct, correct, and, oh yeah, CORRECT! But, at last, catching up on the cookie sets never posted….

I created this set last spring for one GLAD GRADuate. Thank you Lawdy that that part of schooling was done (although she is now working on her Masters…). Impressive.gladgrad3.jpg

Halloween 2018

Graciously, Meri Meri allowed me to capture their 2018 Halloween designs in cookie form.  These went out to the yearly GO BO Bake Sale, fundraising to fight childhood cancer. Here’s hoping that one day we will find the way to cure or prevent cancer.

Baker’s Apology

Sometimes an apology comes in handy.  For your favorite baker, bread maker or person with a “weir.dough” sense of humor.  #flourpower

SLAY Bells Ring

Are you listening? Suffice it to SLAY, those SLAY bells have been ringing! So many folks out there working hard 24/7, slaying their own world.  This is my homage to all you amazing people. MMB offers you props with the proverbial pun.  Keep up the good work and enjoy a bit of down time over the holidays.  Merry everything!!!!

Gingerbread Train

3D gingerbread trains were a little out of my box.  But what the client wants, the client gets.  The engine was a 5″ cookie with an additional “coal” cart custom behind. Included were two huge gingerbread men (one was a woman, actually) and two little ones that fit in the  front compartment of the train.  All to be decorated at the party and taken home in their custom box.

Fa Law Law Law Law

Holiday office party for the judicial courts in Colorado.  Please pun, the client said.  I don’t have to be asked twice. Her favorite were the ‘briefs’…
